I’m busy working away on my office closet. It’s coming together pretty nicely! I am off to The Container Store tomorrow to see what they have in the way of Elfa shelving. I’m in love with the the Elfa system. If you haven’t tried it before and need some organization and extra storage in your life, high tail it down there. I was introduced to Elfa years ago by a co-worker and we did all our closets in our old house little by little in the system. We had such limited storage space in that house and I needed to maximize every inch, and the Elfa system delivered. It took us a few years to complete all the closets, but it was well worth the wait. It’s super easy installation and you can change it up as your needs change. I did our “guest room” closet soon after we moved into our old house and over the years it changed to hold one boy and then two boys’ clothes, etc. and I was able to easily change it without much investment and time. I always waited until their big sale after Christmas to tackle my next project, so check them out in a few weeks!
Ok. So enough on my unpaid endorsement :)
I thought I’d show you a quick peek at some client projects.
This is the palette for the tone on tone farmhouse kitchen…Just a sampling of fabric for window treatments, the paint color for the newly painted cabinets and the back splash tile.
While I was out shopping for bathroom fixtures, etc., with another client, I came across two possible kitchen faucets. What do you think?
{sorry it’s kinda blurry-blame it on my iPhone}
We are in the planning stages of this kitchen and moving along with some of the smaller details now. The majority of the remodel will happen after the first of the year. Don’t forget that some larger (and smaller) projects take time to figure out, plan, budget for, etc. before you can dive right in.
Realizing I’m using “etc.” a lot this post :)
This is another palate for a more neutral, natural master bath project. We decided to forgo the glass tiles because the client wants a more natural feel, but I thought I’d throw them in because they’re so pretty, right?!
I love the travertine mosaic tile. That’s going to be a detail in the shower. This project is in the works and I can’t wait to share the final project with you when it’s done!
{the bathroom last week!}
Hopefully I stay on track to wrap up my office closet this week and share it with you all this coming weekend!
