A quick gallery wall of messy kid photos completed the one wall in the laundry room. One afternoon I had gotten a sick of the pile of photos and frames for our laundry room and started putting nails in the wall to hang these frames. It turned out well until my husband casually mentioned that two of the frames had fallen off the wall and had broken. Great. So next time I have the picture hangers out again I’ll have them do their magic to help those frames stay on the wall a bit better. But for now, I’m enjoying seeing those photos when I do laundry.
The messy kids photos are a glimpse into our real, every day life. I love bringing in who we are as a family onto the walls of our home with things that have meaning to us. I’ve been known to hang sentimental clothing, like a tutu, on the wall, {which reminds me that I never shared how the cute little Mrs. Rabbit romper turned out framed!} a framed flag, and other meaningful pieces.
