The New Website + a Giveaway!

April 19, 2017 By Gina Jackson

I’m so excited to finally be sharing my NEW WEBSITE!!! If you subscribe to my blog’s newsletter or to the website, you got a sneak peek over the weekend, and I officially launched early this week on Facebook and Instagram!

P.S….you’ll want to hang on through the end because there’s a fun giveaway to help celebrate the launch :)

I am pretty sure I’ve been working on this website every free moment for the last couple of months! I have known it needed updating for quite some time, but I had been holding off as long as possible. It had been 6 years with the occasional update here and there, so it was definitely time. I worked with the incredibly talented Christine at She Creates. {You can read her blog post HERE about our project!} If you need a web designer of any kind, she is amazing to work with. I can’t recommend her enough!

The move to Nebraska gave me a chance to rethink and reevaluate my design business ideas and direction. It’s really the same driving idea…I love what I do! I love helping people live better and love where they live. And I’ll help however I can, big or small, to achieve that goal :)

Since I have been in Nebraska now almost a year, {how is that possible?!?!} I’ve been helping clients back in San Diego “virtually,” and it’s worked great! It got me thinking about how I can offer different services, in addition to my Full Design Service, and still work with my existing clients, as well as reach a new clientele. I thought a lot about what I regularly do with and for clients and how I could make them into specific services. So along with a new site, I am introducing a few new services!

I will still be offering my FULL DESIGN SERVICE for clients locally here in Nebraska and for when I make a couple trips back to the San Diego area each year. For clients who are undertaking any kind of a remodel, a room makeover, or even a new build, my Full Design Service encompasses all of this. I absolutely love working with clients on their projects, managing contractors and timelines, and helping them design a space where they love to live.

A lot of times, clients don’t need a remodel or all new furniture and a whole overhaul, but they do need a refresh of their space. Usually if you are doing it yourself, it doesn’t all happen at once. You could spend weeks checking out different stores, bringing home accessories or accents, testing if they worked, finding some did and some didn’t, then heading back out to return them and start all over. I know from experience that clients can feel overwhelmed and exhausted by this whole process! So that’s why I’ve added a STYLING APPOINTMENT SERVICE. If your home or space needs a refresh {think pillows, decor accents, throws, lamps and wall decor} I do all the leg work of shopping for you, bring it to your home and make it beautiful and refreshed!

I have also helped quite a few clients that were in the process of moving. Moving can be so overwhelming and stressful, and over the years I have been able to help clients manage the “setting up home” aspect of their move. Some clients are downsizing. Some have gone from a smaller house to a larger one because their family is growing. No matter what, a new house is just a different home: different layout, rooms, and overall look. From deciding what gets moved to the new house and where it will go, to showing up on moving day to help, the MOVE IN SERVICE  is a lifesaver. There is a half day or full day package to select.  I am there to tell movers where furniture and wall decor goes, and help set up home while we’ve got the heavy lifters there.

I know when I’ve moved, it’s such chaos and I end up feeling bad about the guys moving so much, and they move so DANG fast! There’s always like 4+ of them moving furniture and boxes and bombarding you with questions on where it all should go. In the times we’ve moved with movers, I never really take the time to tell them where every little piece is supposed to go. I just say, “It goes in that room,” and then at the end of the day we’re left with having to move the pieces to the layout where I want them after the movers have all left! I seriously wish I had had someone like this when we moved last year!

And for my new virtual design services! This past year, I have helped long-time clients in San Diego with some smaller projects, and we’ve done it all over email, texts, and FaceTime. {this is when I love technology!}  ON CALL DESIGNER SERVICE, is where I am your personal virtual shopper for the day. Often times we know what we are looking for, but we aren’t quite sure if what we find is the best option. That’s where I come in :) It’s like I’m there shopping with you, telling you, “YES! go for it!” or “NOPE, not the right one.”

And last, but not least, I am now offering E-DESIGN SERVICE. It doesn’t matter where you live or what your budget and timeline is with E-Design. I design your space, complete with a floor plan, customized design board and detailed shopping list, and you implement them on your own timeline & budget. These services allow me to work with clients in more locations and with different budgets.

See all my SERVICES HERE and read more about each one.

{If you are in the San Diego area, and need help with a Full Service Design project, I am hoping to schedule a visit this summer and would love to work with you! Dates are still to be determined. Send me an email at gina@livingsolutionsid.com if you are interested in scheduling a consultation.}

I would love it if you looked around the new site! And I would love even more to help you design a space or home that you love! If you have any questions about services or starting a project, be sure to fill out the PROJECT INQUIRY on the website and we can chat about your next project!
