Ahhh, spring time. Nothing sets the tone better than spring flowers, a beautiful Easter dress, and a basket filled with brightly colored eggs. I guess it’s the girly girl in me, but I love Easter. This year I’m going to try something different when I dye my eggs. I found this great idea on an adorable blog The Magic Onions. Silk dyed eggs. Basically it’s wrapping a piece of colorfully patterned silk around your Easter eggs, and boiling them. They finished Easter eggs are amazing. The pattern actually transfers to the eggs. Another thing that I love about this method is that it’s all one step. You wrap the eggs in silk before you hard boil them and there is no clean up of little cups of dye. How much easier does it get than that?
Do you have any fun Easter Projects?
