I hope you are enjoying your summer! I’m busy with kiddos and many Living Solutions projects in the works this summer. It’s good to be busy, but my summer kind of feels a bit over-scheduled. Aren’t summer days supposed to be relaxed and carefree?!?!? But we are making the most of it and enjoying our more relaxed days around here.
I was out shopping for a client and came across all these fun chairs at Ethan Allen, and thought I’d share some color and pattern inspiration. Chairs are a great way to add a pop of pattern and color to any room. If you tend to play it safe, it’s great because it’s not that big of a piece. It’s not a sofa that would take up all your visual attention. A chair with a fun pattern is just enough pattern to add some life and personality into a space.
This chair was just reupholstered for a client. There are two of these matching wing chairs and they turned out great!
And this is our chair. This picture was from when we first moved in to our house almost 4 years ago. Those dark wood closet doors and maple leaf knobs are long gone. It was my Nonna’s chair {my Italian grandmother} and I remember sitting in it as a kid. It’s been in our house since we moved to San Diego and it’s ready to be reupholstered.
I love both of these fabrics, and hope to use the one on the right for something, but it’s not cheap!!! So I decided on the one on the left for our chair and ottoman. It will be a fun pop in our guest bedroom/husband’s office.
So many fun patterns and colors! And in small doses, the pop of color and pattern adds so much to a space!
