My personal project this week is one that I have been dragging my feet on starting, mainly because before began I HAD TO clean out the garage, uuuggh. My laundry machines are in the garage, which is right off of our living room so I don’t feel like I’m too far away, but it is not the most visually appealing spot in our place. I spend A LOT of time in the garage in front of those two machines so I figured I DESERVE an area that makes me feel good.
I’ll share my “before” pic with you now and as soon as the project is done, I’m shooting for this weekend, I’ll upload the “afters”. So here she is, in all her glory, my laundry area…
Being as though my laundry area is in the garage, there is not a whole bunch I can do, which makes this project very easy. I decided to paint the wall behind my machines a “dirty green,” the green square to the right side of the picture, Dunn Edwards Glass Tile DE-6262 to be exact. I’m also going to hang more shelves. Oh, I can’t wait! I might actually enjoy folding clothes in here. Oh wait, what am I saying…
To help kick start the project I turned to our trusty friend, Pinterest, for some visual inspiration. Here are some laundry rooms/areas that I would be proud to call my own…
All images can be found here, on my Clean Spaces Pinterest Board.
I can’t wait to finish this project. It’s has been on my “to do” list for a while. How about you, are there any project you’re working on now? We’d love to hear about them…
