I’m back to posting! After some time {like almost a year! EEK!} away from this blog, I am excited to get back into it. The blog has had a little cosmetic refresher, as well, and I hope you like the new look.
I’m sharing some of my recent Instagram photos. You can follow Living Solutions on Instagram at livingsolutionsid.
I tend to post more photos on Instagram than I do on Facebook, and I will be posting my Instagram pictures regularly here on the blog in case you’re not on Instagram and want to see what I have been up to in my design life.
Our tree. Definitely not “picture perfect” like so many of the beautiful trees I see throughout my Instagram feed or on my favorite blogs. But it’s our tree. Decorating the house this year has been a bit more of a chore for me than I’d like. I feel like being an interior designer, my tree and decorations should be amazing and I definitely wouldn’t describe them as such!!! But I know my kids love them, and they are the ones that count. I’m trying to savor the season and relax and enjoy, and trying to be ok with it not all being “magazine picture quality!”
Progress on a master bath shower. Doesn’t look like much right now, but the contractors have worked hard on this thing. Checking out progress on this bathroom remodel today. Can’t wait to see how it’s looking!
Living Solutions holiday cards ready to be sent. So thankful for wonderful clients, amazing contractors, and super helpful vendors!
The “after” of my little Ikea hack project for my little girl’s 2 year old birthday.
{She loves it by the way!}
Getting ready to paint.
New books for inspiration. I haven’t had a chance to actually read them yet, just skim through the beautiful pages.
Sometimes, the hair salon is the only quiet I can get.
This happened a few days ago. I got an itch to start working on our half bath. It’s covered {ceiling and all} in wallpaper, and it’s time for a change. 6 days before Christmas. There are about a million other things I should be doing before stripping wallpaper, but I’m ready for a change and it can’t wait.
Progress on a laundry room remodel. It’s come a LONG way! Sharing some of the progress next week.
Have a wonderful weekend!
