Another Fireplace Update

November 7, 2011 By Living Solutions Interior Design

Can’t believe it’s Sunday already. It’s been a quite week on the LSID blog, huh?! Between sick kids, a sick hubby, then a sick me, Halloween, a first birthday, company and a first birthday party, work and final touches on projects around the house, it’s been one CRAZY week!
I’ve been working on a kitchen project with a farmhouse feel, along with some other projects that I hope to share this coming week. But for today, I thought I’d share another update to my own master bedroom fireplace. You can see what it looked like here when we first moved in. This past Friday, it was installed, in all it’s glory!
Sorry for not the greatest lighting.

We are so happy with how it turned out. There some patch work that needs to be delt with, I need to finish painting the room (didn’t get to that this week like I was hoping:), window treatments need to be installed and a Ikea chair needs to be assembled, but for now, I’m happy with the way that this project turned out! I can’t wait to figure out accessories and artwork for it!
I hope you all had a great weekend! We had fun celebrating our little guy’s first birthday with lots of family and friends. And today we were ready to do our annual family photo shoot but the rain in San Diego had other plans, so it got rescheduled. We had a lazy day in sweats, played with new birthday toys and had some yummy chilli!
It’s back to work tomorrow :)

It looks just perfect. What is the paint color you used on the walls? The white fireplace mantel looks great against it. Can’t wait to see the whole room when you finish.
