Welcome to our new blog!

We are in the midst of working on a new blog design around here, so hang in there with us as it looks a bit empty! We are also learning this new platform so it will hopefully run more smoothly in the weeks to come.  We will eventually have all of our old posts here, but in the meantime, if there is anything you are looking for that we have written about in the past, you can still find it here at our old blogspot blog address.

We would still love you to follow along, so if you are wanting to keep up with this new blog, make sure you bookmark this new address and add it to your favorites!

And if you haven’t yet, please check out our new website!  More projects have been added to our portfolio page and our services have been updated a bit.

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to January, I am so ready for a fresh start. Jill and I have had our annual business meeting {where we discuss very important decisions and ideas, all over bagels and coffee. and we usually get sidetracked with personal updates or something we overhear at the next table. but we do get things accomplished} and we have some fun new advertising ideas coming for our business, new blog ideas, photo shoots lined up for recent projects, etc.

I also wrote up my 2014 Home Project List for our house. There are always a million and one things my husband and I would like to get done, but it all comes down to money, time and prioritizing. I’ve found it’s easier for us to plan when we start with a list.

 

Hoping to tone this down a bit…

Left overs from Christmas decorating, plus Memory, and a random white pitcher. Hoping to change this into more of a gallery art “shelf.”

And the downstairs hall where I have a fun idea in my head that I hope translates when I work on it in real life. As my 3 year old says, “Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t.”

Am I the only one that starts with a LONG list? {I even took stuff off to try to be realistic and fit it all on one page!} Jill and I would love to hear what some of your home projects are for 2014, big or small!
