It seems as though I won’t ever be done taking down wallpaper in this house. I actually love the idea of wallpaper in small doses and occasionally in large doses. My favorite place to use wallpaper is in a powder room or half bath. The powder room is usually small, so you can get away with something dramatic or whimsical, or use a pop of color you love but don’t think you could live with in large doses. And I love the idea of giving your guests something fun unexpected to experience!
I’ve thought of using a new wallpaper in our powder bath some day, something like this…
However, I’ll refrain from also using it on the ceiling.
{our half bath}
For now, I’m just focusing on taking down wall after wall of wallpaper.

Nothing says “Guest Bathroom” like an English library wallpaper border.
A mallard head hook and maple leaf knobs really finish the look.

This wallpaper is much harder to remove than the hallway wallpaper. It is two layers {one being vinyl} on plaster, so I have to chip it off.
SO. MUCH. FUN.
