I mentioned last week that I found this wreath and thought it might be a crafty project I could tackle.
I knew I needed a different color for the wreath because of our black door, so I was thinking just natural burlap. Until I was at Hobby Lobby last week when we were visiting family in the bay area and saw orange burlap!
The tools I used…
I purchased the wire wreath at Michael’s for a few dollars and the burlap was under $6. I purchased 1 1/2 yards and ended up using a bit less than that.
Once I had all my materials, I checked on Pinterest to see if there were any tutorials on making one of these wreaths and I found this post that I followed.

I cut the strips into about 1″x7″ strips.
And just started tying the strips onto the wreath.
It was pretty easy! Two things to be aware of…You might want to get some fabric scissors, because you’ll be doing a lot of cutting! And the burlap makes quite a mess when it’s cut!
I added a sparkly “spooky” sign and some ribbon.
It also doubles as a “Go Giants“ wreath for their play off games :)
Happy Halloween craftiness :)
