It’s a domino effect in this room…We first had our drywall contractor repair some cracks and bubbles in our dry wall, then we had our fireplace mantle replaced that you can read about here, (you can see in that picture the little bit of work that needs to be done on the wall…again). Our chimney flashing is leaking so even though we had the drywall repaired, it’s rained a few times. And then the dry wall issues re-appeared. So in two weeks we are finally having the flashing repaired! Which means I can get the guys back out here to do some final patch work, paint the walls, and then get our window treatments up, FINALLY!!! We’ve been living with a sheet on one window and nothing on our slider, so it will be nice to finally have something on our windows!
Master Bedroom Details
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I was able to fit in time to do some painting in our master bedroom, and we are loving how it’s turning out!
For the walls, I chose Benjamin Moore’s Silver Chain.
On our walls, it looks a bit more gray/blue and not this gray.
For the custom drapery, I choose just a white linen with this fabric from Calico Corners as a trim along the lead edge. I had to do custom for our larger size sliding glass door. There will be a post to come on custom vs. ready made window treatments because I will have both in my home soon, and there are pros to each option.

I’m liking some kind of geometric pattern for pillows on the bed.
Something like this…
or this.

These details will probably be a ways down the road, but I like to plan :). I’m sure I will change my mind a few times until I finally decide!
