Hope you have all enjoyed your weekend! We have been super busy around here prepping for our move. It’s been a bit stressful…The previous owners weren’t completely out of the house on the deadline we all agreed upon, so it set us back a few days, but we have been busy bees sanding, patching, etc. More to come on that!
I’ve been wanting to share the special treat that arrived in the mail a few days ago. My Erin Condren Life Planner!!! (I should say that I am in no way affiliated with ErinCondren.com, nor will I be benefiting from this post monetarily from them! I just am in love with their products!)
I became turned on to Erin Condren this past winter when I received one of my dear friend Katherine’s family Christmas card. We have always shared a common love for all things beautiful and she has amazing taste, so I always pay extra close attention to the things she sends. I immediately went to the site to check out what they had to offer. And I fell in love. It’s really no secret that I love all things stationary related, so I’m always enamored by beautiful paper goods. And one of my favorite things is a new daily planner. I first read about the Life Planner on one of my favorite blogs, IHeart Organizing. (If you haven’t checked it out, you must, you must, you must.) I had just bought a new Mom Agenda planner, so I couldn’t justifying spending the money to try out yet another new planner when I had a perfectly good one waiting to be filled. I patiently waited until July when the new Life Planner’s were available.
I have ordered a few other products from www.ErinCondren.com before I ordered my Life Planner.
I like to keep all my notes, long term to-do lists, vacation plans, house plans, etc. in a single notebook so I can keep track of it all and so I don’t have 80 million post it notes everywhere. (As it is I have my fair share of random notes in my purse, my car, the house-I need help where ever I can get it.) So I thought I’d jazz it up a bit and purchase this personalized notebook. Jill and I also ordered ourselves one for LSID as our official “launch present”!
I also have their weekly schedule pad because my husband and I kept getting our schedules mixed up. We needed something that he could look at and see what was going on with our family during the week.
Everything about the ordering process is a treat! There’s a little “fairy dust chime” (I’m not sure what else to call it…that’s just what it sounds like to me!) when you click on any part of their website and even your FedEx box is adorable!
My new 2011-2012 Life Planner! Isn’t she cute?!
You have all kinds of options, like adding your favorite photo to the cover or adding matching note pads. When it’s been possible, I have always added the matching note pads!
And an inside look…Just waiting to be filled!
I have just started to fill it in. It’s been so busy around here with moving, design projects and life, that I haven’t sat down to spend some uninterrupted time filling in everything, but I can’t wait to work on it!
So what’s your favorite daily planner? Do you prefer your smart phone to keep all your appointments? Or is the good old fashioned hand written planner more your style? I’m always so interested in learning how others keep track of their busy lives! Feel free to add a comment about your favorite choice!
Happy Planning!
