It’s starting to get a little cooler around here and even though I still have piles of boxes around my house and things that still need some serious organizing and decorating, I wanted to bring a little bit of warmth and coziness to our new house.
So I did a little bit of shopping this past week and I thought I’d share what I came home with!
I got this wire pear and candle and candle holder at the one and only Target. I still have to light the candle (always, always light your candles even if you don’t burn them regularly. It looks like you do!)
And disregard the wallpaper in the background. This is in our entry way and on the list is a new lamp, a mirror and wallpaper tear down and paint! So much to do!
My plan for the cork filled glass canister is to make these adorable yarn balls in fall colors. I saw this on The Hostess with the Mostess website. There are so many cute ideas on this website! Hopefully I can get to this crafty little project by the time Christmas rolls around, seeing as I have so much free time these days :)
This past weekend, my hubby and I finally got around to celebrating our anniversary, and we spent the day on Coronado, one of our most very favorite things to do. I have been wanting one of these throws for years and thought it would be a perfect cozy addition to our master bedroom and a great momento of our anniversary. I got this at the Hotel Del Coronado’s Babcock and Story Emporium.
And I found this cute little polypropylene rug at Cotier Home in Coronado.
Have you already started decorating for fall? There is so much inspiration out there on blog-land!
